R.N.I.B workshop

RNIB are running six weeks of workshops in Fermanagh House from Thursday 7th September from 9.30 - 3.30. The Royal National Institute of blind people in Northern Ireland is running a series of confidence building programmes tailored for people aged 60 plus and living with sight loss. The aims of each programme are to provide support and information as well as bringing people together with their peers to share their sight loss journey and reduce social isolation or exclusion. There is a range of themes for each programme including mobility and daily living, emotional support and well being, assistive technology, eye health, peer support and leisure time. Each programme is a combination of facilitated sessions and talks about what help is available and how to access it. The programmes are free and partners, family & friends are also invited to participate.
