The National Lottery Community Fund are running a support event for groups working with young people from 2 – 4pm on Tuesday 11th June. Are you working with young people in the Fermanagh and Omagh area and currently developing a project idea? If so,this event is for you. I will give you the opportunity to develop new skills, network and share learning with other groups working in your area. It will give you an overview of the Empowering Young People funding programme which is designed to support projects in Northern Ireland that give young people aged 8 to 25 the ability for £10,000 to £500,000 for one to five year projects. The programme supports projects where young people have been fully involved in the development, design, running and evaluation of the project. During this two hour session, staff from the National Lottery Community Fund and the National Children’s Bureau will demonstrate some techniques and share ideas that will help you to achieve this.
