The First ‘Next Chapter’ Meeting is being held on Wednesday 12th September in Fermanagh House from 7.00 – 9pm.
This calls all women of all ages and all backgrounds to come and be part of the Next Chapter. This is a new PEACE IV program targeting women to develop their ideas, build communities and support the transition out of conflict. This aims to improve the representation of women in public and political life and contribute to a more gender-sensitive society. The programme was launched in March and has attracted interest from hundreds of women across Northern Ireland. It is lead by Politics Plus in conjunction with Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (NICVA) and Rural Link.
By joining your local Chapter Hub you will also be eligible to apply early for The Next Chapter FREE training, coaching and mentoring programme. The topics will include ‘Women as Champions of Peacebuilding’, ‘Decision Making, Politics & Public Life’, ‘Developing a Powerful Voice’ and ‘Communicating with impact’.
