The team at Fermanagh House is embracing the festive spirit by sharing the magic of Christmas with local families and children who need a little extra support this season.
Each year, the dedicated team sets aside funds from their income to purchase batches of toys for children, ensuring the joy of unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning reaches even more young hearts. Located at Broadmeadow, Enniskillen, Fermanagh House is a social enterprise owned by The Fermanagh Trust, a local grant-making charity. Income from its office and meeting room facilities is reinvested into supporting the community, including grants, donations, and thoughtful gestures like this.
This Christmas, toys have been donated to three incredible charities—the Salvation Army, St. Vincent de Paul, and Fermanagh Women’s Aid—who will distribute these gifts to children and families in need.
Marilyn Quinn, Centre Manager at Fermanagh House, expressed heartfelt gratitude:
“Thank you to everyone who has used Fermanagh House this year. Your support enables us to make these donations and give back to the community. It’s a privilege to assist these groups that do such vital work.”
Marilyn added: “Christmas is a time for sharing, and it’s wonderful to be able to contribute in this way. Every child deserves the joy of a gift on Christmas morning, and we are so pleased to help make that possible.”
This act of generosity reflects the true spirit of Christmas—bringing hope, happiness, and community support to those who need it most.
